Big things are coming… and we couldn’t be more excited! 💖
We’re thrilled to share that Livvi’s Café is about to be transformed into something even more special.
This next chapter is all about creating a space where everyone – across all ages and stages of life – feels welcome, included and connected. The new-look Livvi’s Café will feature an expanded café, giving us the opportunity to grow our open employment and work experience programs alongside a dedicated program and gathering space known as The LIVVIng Room.
Together, these spaces will bring to life a fun, vibrant, intergenerational hub where community happens naturally – and where everyone truly belongs.
For over 10 years, Livvi’s Café- nestled beside everyone’s favourite inclusive playspace, Livvi’s Place at Timbrell Park, Five Dock – has been creating opportunities that matter. In that time, we’ve supported more than 50 people to gain meaningful work experience and employment in hospitality.
But we know there’s more to do.
With growing demand for inclusive employment pathways and places for connection, it’s time to expand. This transformation will allow us to do just that – bringing together inclusive employment, community programs, and social connection in one beautifully designed space.
The result? A new blueprint for inclusive community life – right here in the heart of Sydney’s Inner West.

📣📣📣 BREAKING NEWS 📣📣📣
ANNOUNCING JOHN MACLEAN as FOUNDING SPONSOR! 🙌🤝
We are thrilled to welcome John as Founding Sponsor. John’s story is nothing short of extraordinary. John is an Australian motivational speaker, Ironman and Paralympian who rebuilt his life after a cycling accident left him paraplegic. John’s work centres on helping people navigate change through resilience and mindset. John’s mantra “How far can you go?” aligns perfectly with our mission and why we started this project in the first place!
If this strikes a chord for you, why not reach out about becoming a sponsor? We are keen to talk to any organisations or businesses that would like to donate in-kind materials or services or that are keen to sponsor part of the build. This is a great opportunity to be recognised in your community as a champion of inclusion. A chance to be part of something that will last for many generations to come. A community asset that will change many lives. Because, it is only by working together that we can strive for a more inclusive world. #disabilityemployment #socialconnection #inclusion #belonging
